For some yesterday, the Internet was at a slow crawl, or maybe even a stop. DownDetector reported outages with many service providers. What caused it? A fat fingered techie it seems according to both the Register and Wired…what’s worse, is just like programmatic on the stock markets, some large companies like Microsoft and Google had their own protection tools kick in which in turn affected their cloud services. This cascading effect in essence created a “blackout” like scenario…OUCH…as far as other news….Qualcomm braces for a battle with Broadcom…Oh, Amazon….Google and Salesforce get cloudy eyed…..WeWork wants to be WeLearn too…those stories and more are all in today’s COMUNICANO!
