The news popped this morning about Walt Mossberg announcing his retirement. As someone who would sit next to Walt often at DEMO conferences, and who would occasionally pitch him a story angle back then, I have to say that there was no bigger tech columnist around for a long time. Walt also was the biggest Apple Fan Boy-or maybe it was a Bro Crush on Steve Jobs. Regardless, Mossberg was until he moved away from the Wall Street Journal usually the make or break tech correspondent. He will be missed…and with that, on with the news, in today’s COMUNICANO.
